Storing your Cupcake Toppers
Royal Icing Toppers
If you do not need to use your toppers right away, you can store them in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 12 months.
DO NOT REFRIGERATE!! Room temperature only.
Keep the toppers away from moisture, heat and light or they will melt./soften and fade.
Molded Sugar Toppers
Unlike the royal icing, molded sugar toppers can be used to decorate frozen products such as ice cream cakes, and will also withstand the freeze/thaw process. Before you use them on your products you can store them at room temperature as per above instructions. These toppers can also be baked directly onto some products, such as cookie dough and pie crust.
You can identify molded sugar toppers as they have grainy sugar visible on the reverse side of them.
