I love being a civil marriage celebrant and enjoy making people feel comfortable. I’m certainly qualified to do this having spent over 3 decades as a Flight Attendant with Qantas. Since 2008 I have helped couples make their wedding day a memorable experience, in places ranging from the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains, Byron Bay and greater Sydney. My priority is to make each couple’s wedding the day they imagine.

I believe that our own friends know us better than anyone, although it is always a little strange learning how your friends perceive you. I have asked a few of my dearest to answer a question each so that you may learn more about who I am.

In general we trust our instincts, so when it comes to the details of your wedding day try and follow your own as they rarely let you down. Your dream will be reality in a few short months.
Enjoy the planning of your Wedding Day: whether it is going to be formal, casual or elaborate, this day is one of the most important events of your life. Take the pressure off and make the most of those unique moments with your fiancé, friends, mum and whoever else may be with you during the planning phase.
What you need to have on hand at the first meeting:
- Your Original Birth Certificates or O/S Passports if born Overseas and haven’t a translated Birth Certificate.
- “The Notice of Intended Marriage” Document (Form 13). This would be filled out together or I can forward one to you…note that your signatures are witnessed by the Celebrant.
- The NOIM (Form 13) MUST be sighted and signed by the Celebrant no later than one Month prior to your Wedding date.
- An Australian Passport is acceptable as proof of Birth if you are unable to source above mentioned documents.
- Other documents that may be relevant such as divorce or deceased spouse papers.
