‘Kiss & Run’ Registry style ceremony

Details

This version is for the people who want a ‘Registry Style’ ceremony with the minimum of wording. Recommended for wedding with up to 6 guests. Does not include any ‘personal scripts’ or music (usually up to 5mins duration, which includes the signing ( also includes the lodgment legal documents etc). Ideal also for people planning to marry overseas and would like a legal Australian marriage before or after.

This ceremony is carried out in my home office.

Monitum/Legal announcements
Vows – From pre-written vows
Exchange of rings
The Pronouncing - Celebrant announces the married couple
Signing of the Register - The couple and two witnesses sign the Legal documents
All meetings/contact from the date of acceptance of me as your Marriage Celebrant until the completion of the marriage ceremony
Completion of all legal paperwork as required of a celebrant by the Attorney General’s Department
Presentation of a completed Certified Australian Marriage Certificate upon completion of the ceremony
Lodgement of any legal paperwork as required by the Attorney Generals Department

Booking terms

Payments

1st payment (50% deposit) - At the time that you confirm me as your Marriage Celebrant
2nd payment (50% balance) - No later than 2 weeks prior to the agreed marriage date. The celebrant will not perform the ceremony if the final payment is not received at that time and the total deposit will be retained.

Cancellations

If received prior to 6 months before the agreed marriage date, 50% of the deposit will be returned
If the marriage is cancelled after that time, the total amount of the deposit will be retained.

‘Unplugged or Elopement’ A no fuss, stylish ceremony

Details

This version is for the people who want a more relaxed ceremony. Recommended for wedding with up to 15 guests. Includes ‘personal scripts’ but no music (usually up to 10mins duration, which includes the signing and lodgment legal documents etc). Ideal also for people who have been married overseas and would like a legal Australian marriage with their friends & relatives who couldn’t attend, these ceremonies are becoming very popular with overseas couples combining a marriage ceremony and a holiday in Australia. Also great for someone looking for a nice simple ceremony in a park or place of their choice.

Declaration of intent
Readings by family or friend (optional)

Modern ceremony

Details

This is the most popular ceremony can be held at most indoor/outdoor locations and is recommended any size wedding. This option includes a ‘personally written ceremony and assistance with the writing of your personal vows (usually up to 20-30mins duration, which includes the signing and lodgment legal documents etc). Also included at no additional cost, is an optional signing table, chairs and cover.
Another inclusion at no additional cost is the use of a ‘high quality’ professional PA system and your personal selection of music during the ceremony. The Modern is usually conducted in the venue of your choice within the Perth metropolitan area.

This Package includes:

Introduction and any other general information for guests as requested by Bride & Groom
Processional – (or Bridal march) - Bridesmaids enter followed by Bride with the person giving her away
Giving away of the Bride
Introduction, talk about the couple’s commitment to each other and what marriage means to them.
Declaration of intent

Monitum/Legal announcements
Vows - A selection of either custom written or poetic vows
Exchange of rings
The Pronouncing - Celebrant announces the married couple and says ‘ you may kiss....’

Conclusion - A short conclusion is said by the Celebrant, with acknowledgement of other parties. At this stage it is important to announce and further details before announcing the couple.
Congratulations & Presentation to family & friends
Recessional - The couple leave the ceremony area, followed by the bridal party to music.

Surprise Wedding

Details

Surprise weddings are becoming very popular at the moment, they are a great way of having a ceremony without the big build up. Couples are choosing to combine their wedding with an engagement, birthday party or any other party that they can invite their ‘unsuspecting’ guests to. While this option still includes a full legal marriage with a personally written ceremony and assistance with the writing of your personal vows, the real fun starts when we announce to everyone at your ‘party’ that were having a wedding instead...
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Surprise ceremonies can ONLY be conducted when both people getting married are aware of the ceremony, so only the guests can be surprised.
The ceremony will include the same elements as the ‘Modern’ ceremony (above) but with a bit more time put into the planning and execution of the surprise.
Another inclusion at no additional cost is the use of a ‘high quality’ professional PA system and your personal selection of music during the ceremony.
There are a number of simple steps that I will be able to guide you through to help you have the best surprise ever.

The planning phase - We catch up to work through your ideas and together, we can work out the steps to make sure your ceremony is a complete surprise for your guests and perfectly legal, after all that's the most important part.
The legal stuf - We will get the legal stuf sorted out early, leaving you plenty of time to get the fun stuf in motion.
Putting your ceremony together - A surprise ceremony can be brief if you like or it can be as long as a ‘Modern ceremony’ and couples will also be able to include all of the elements of the Modern ceremony if they wish.
The ‘walk through’ - Just before your wedding date, we will meet up again to go through the steps making sure we get everything in place for the BIG surprise.
The set up - On the day, I'll sneak over early to the venue and set up all of the sound gear to avoid any suspicion
The Surprise - And then as the moment arrives, we sit back and watch the fun unfold!

While the role of a Marriage Celebrant has not changed significantly over the years, but the Australian Government has recently introduced strict guidelines to ensure that couples, who require the services of a Marriage Celebrant, are dealing with true professionals, fully endorsed by the Department of the Attorney General.

Having carried out comprehensive accredited studies and ongoing professional development, I am a FULL-TIME celebrant and I am fully qualified and authorised to perform marriages in accordance to the Australian Marriage Act 1961.

When you meet with your potential marriage celebrant, make sure they are fully qualified and you are comfortable with the person you have selected. It’s important that your celebrant is on the ‘same page’ as you and offers you the complete and personal service you require.

Over the past 20 years I have been involved in many aspects of the wedding industry, firstly as a wedding photographer then in the area of video production. So I believe I have a very good understanding of what it takes to make a couple feel special.

Although born in Australia, I come from a European background and have travelled the world, so I know the important role extended families and cultural protocols can play.

While I love wedding to be fun, happy events, I firmly believe that fully understanding the needs of my couples and their families is paramount.
