We stayed in Mahala 2 and it was lovely! Close to Daylesford town centre, close to the lake. The spa bath was nice, so was the wood fire and the bed as well. However, I was very disappointed that there were no candles in the house, while on the photos there were candles everywhere. Even stranger was the note that said that candles weren’t allowed. I believe that you are misleading your guests if you the photos of the accommodation have something in them that is actually not allowed! The shower was a bit annoying because it was very small and there was no way getting it turned on without either wetting the rest of the bathroom, or standing in the first bit of cold water yourself. It also wasn’t big enough for two.
All and all a lovely accommodation though and we had a great time there!
