Olinda Tea House is a 17- acre property in Olinda in the magnificent Dandenong Ranges. Just 50 minutes from Melbourne, the property boasts a versatile main function room, covered deck areas for dining and ceremonies, two private VIP Pavilions and a VIP room for the bride. The main lawn is a perfect location for outdoor ceremonies and there are plenty of lovely backdrops for wedding photography.
The Olinda Tea House is the ideal wedding venue, accommodating small intimate groups from 10 to 120+ guests. With floor to ceiling windows & doors, your reception will overlook the lush green gardens and bushland backdrop. The bi-fold doors open up to the surrounding deck creating a seamless flow from the indoor reception onto the outdoor areas.
Head Chef ChinChin is internationally recognised for his state banquets. His wedding banquets are impressive, generous and absolutely delicious. And everyone falls in love with the stunning dessert stands.
Staff and management have extensive experience in hospitality, weddings and event management, which means you can relax and focus on enjoying your day.

The Forest Room
Perfect for a lunch or evening reception, our main function room, the Forest Room, is a beautiful space with views of the surrounding gardens and Mountain Ash forest, suitable for 120+ seated. It can also be divided into two rooms: one catering for up to 60 guests and the other for 50 guests.
VIP Room 3
Our VIP3 room is perfectly situated near the Forest Room and can be used as a bridal change room, gift and signing table room or simply to store decorations.
VIP Pavilion 1 & 2
Perfect for a more relaxed and intimate celebration, each of our Pavilions can cater for a maximum of 24 guests. Situated along our boardwalk and overlooking fish ponds, garden, and forest, the Pavilions are designed for exclusivity for small groups. Pavilions can be made available for bridal party use.
The Deck
Olinda Tea House has beautiful timber decking around three sides of the venue, all overlooking beautiful gardens, fish ponds and forest. A covered sunken deck lends itself beautifully to outdoor ceremonies and opens onto the end of the Main Function Room via folding glass doors. Another covered area of decking is suitable for private groups of up to 52 guests.
The Lawn
Nestled in amongst forest, hedge and Chinese gardens, the lawn is perfect for outdoor ceremonies and offers lovely natural backgrounds for wedding photography.
