Booking terms

Cancellations - All cancellations must be notified in writing, and the following cancellation fees apply:

A deposit is required to secure your booking, this deposit is non-refundable.
Postponing or transferring an event date with more than 12 weeks’ notice will not incur additional costs, and all monies paid will be transferred to your new date.
Transfers of event dates can only occur once without incurring an additional transfer fee of 50% of the deposit.*
Postponing or transferring an event date with less than 12 weeks’ notice will incur a transfer fee of 50% of the deposit to move your event date.
Any cancellation under 12 weeks of the event, forfeit 100% of all monies paid.

COVID-19 Clause - Should any government restrictions be enforced that limit, restrict or require you to cancel your event, or in the event of a lockdown at our venue your function will be transferred, without penalties, to the next available date of your choice. Otherwise, the paid event funds will be transferred as a credit towards a future event.

Final numbers - Final numbers for your wedding must be confirmed 4 weeks prior to your event, guest cancellations post this are not refundable.

Progress Payments - For all events will be required prior to the date of the event

12 weeks prior to event - 50% payment of current total invoice
6 weeks prior to event - payment to meet 75% of total current invoice
3 weeks prior to event - remaining balance in full

We had our wedding reception held here. Me and my fiancé were searching for wedding reception venues and the Deckhouse was the last venue we saw and from the moment we walked in the venue, we knew this would be the ideal place for us. The setting and the style of the Deckhouse was exactly what we were looking for, as it was both elegant and relaxed with the backdrop of the river and the Sydney city skyline. We highly recommend for any type of event.

We had our wedding hosted at Deckhouse on the 8th of August, despite all the constant changes and restrictions from the Government due to COVID19, Deckhouse has been so supportive and understanding, accommodating to all our needs. We are so fortunate to have had our wedding hosted by Deckhouse.
The food was amazing. Our guest loved it and the night was so smooth. Special thanks to Alahna and Stan. They have been absolutely amazing, ensuring that everything was coordinated and we were well looked after throughout the entire night.
We have been to the cafe a few times too, and have had delicious meals with a gorgeorge view everytime. We highly recommend Deckhouse for any event or even just popping by the cafe for a meal.
