Based in our home town of Ballarat, and surrounded by the great wine regions of Western and central Victoria, winemaker John Harris, works with our growers in the Pyrenees, Macedon, Ballarat and Henty wine regions to craft wines that display distinctive varietal expression and reflect individual vineyard, vintage and regional character.
Nestled in the hills just outside of Moonambel and at the end of the narrow, dusty and bumpy Wild Dog Track, is the Peerick Vineyard. The first Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz vines were planted in 1990. Planted on undulating slopes to maximise the abundant sunlight and to allow cool air movement from the surrounding hills, the shallow, rocky, and quartz laden soils provide an ideal site to ripen all varieties planted.

THE BARREL SHED: Capacity: 150 Cocktail – 80 Dining
Could this be the perfect party space? Walls of bluestone, brick and barrels provide unique ambience for your event. The Barrel Shed looks amazing, be it a large dinner or a cocktail party, and has the space for dancing and music into the night.
MITCHELL HARRIS BAR: Capacity: 80 Cocktail – 50 Dining
The ambience of the Mitchell Harris Wine Bar has become iconic in Ballarat, and your event may be the perfect opportunity to make it yours for an evening. For many people the idea of taking over our entire site is very exciting and appealing. Guests can arrive an enjoy canapés in the Main Bar then head upstairs for a ceremony and then to The Barrel
Shed for a sit down affair. The bar is available for events only on Sundays, most popularly prior to a public holiday Monday.
THE SEAMSTRESS FLOOR: Capacity: 80 Cocktail – 60 Dining
Our upstairs function space was the first place we developed for parties and events. With a view over Ballarat’s historical sklyline, the high ceilings and exposed brick make this a beautiful space that you can make your very own.
