Hohnes Road Playhouse
Welcome to Hohnes Road Playhouse.
We are a unique community-based service, providing children and parents with supervised playgroup, reciprocal (cooperative) care and occasional care. We operate five days a week and on any given day you will see babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers engaged in meaningful play, supported by qualified early childhood staff and parents.
What makes Playhouse different from other playgroups is that we offer reciprocal, or cooperative care. This means that if you join the Playhouse community, you provide support and care to all children, not just your own. This mutual care means that when required, parents are able to take some valuable “time out” and know their children are being cared for by like-minded parents and a qualified childcare worker.
Playhouse welcomes all families, and is an inclusive service available to all. Playhouse has been supporting families for over 40 years.
